Folks, run, don't walk, to buy these tickets

Tix go on sale at 10 this morning for the first Amy Grant-Vince Gill Christmas tour. OK, so it's Amy's regular Christmas show; but, to keep marital bliss, she added her hubby as co-headliner.

Vince has been a guest on the show in the past years.

This year's Grant-Gill co-headlined show happens Dec. 5 at Gaylord Entertainment Center, and youngsters Nickel Creek and teen Christian singer Rachael Lampa also are on the bill. Sorry, no kilts this year.

As usual the concert benefits local charities, including Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

This year, there's an added beneficiary: Amy will lead efforts to build two Habitat for Humanity houses, one in Williamson County and one in Davidson County.

(Oooooo, a Habitat house in Williamson County? What, did the poor guy make under $100,000 last year? Does this mean the Williamson County house will have an above-ground pool instead of in-ground? But I digress.)

And yes, the plan is for Amy to swing a hammer herself. I'll give you details later.
