Not Finished With Me Yet...

Every time I think I have things figured out, I soon realize my human limitations. As I listen to Amy Grant's new album, the song, What You Already Own, touched my heart. The song is a cry from every human soul.
There are many verses in Scripture that reassure us that He is faithful, even when we are not. Here are just a few:
He will never leave you:
"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." - Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV
Perfecting our faith is His role:
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." -Hebrews 12:2 NIV
Be confident in what He will do:
"…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." --Philippians 1:6
So no matter how far away you feel from God, He is still there. No matter how far you have wandered from the commitment you uttered to follow Him, He will always take you back and finish the work He started in you.
