LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Americans can wish upon a star in a new reality show – and that star is Amy Grant.
NBC is searching for deserving people in need of having their wishes granted for an upcoming show called Three Wishes which will be hosted by the Grammy-winning recording artist.
Casting director Bryan Stinson says the show will grant life- changing wishes to three different people – or one small town – per episode.
But Grant has turned out to be a real fairy godmother.
Stinson says that during the shooting of the pilot, a “wish tent” was set up to listen to people’s wishes. Eventually, time ran out and the producers had to stop taking requests, but Stinson says Grant stayed, collecting phone numbers from the needy to try and grant as many wishes as she could on her own.
Three Wishes will premiere later this fall and people with wishes are asked to send an e-mail to bryans@glassmanmedia.com.
