Vince Gill And Amy Grant Expecting Baby

(9/20/00, 3 p.m. ET - Vince Gill and his wife of six months, Amy Grant, are expecting their first child together. The news was announced by Gill during a private concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tuesday (September 19) night.

According to the singer, Grant is three months pregnant and the baby is due in late March. This will be Grants fourth child and Gill's second. Gill and Grant were married on March 10.

In other Gill/Grant news, the pair will headline the third annual "Musical Tribute to John Denver" October 13 at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, Colorado. Proceeds will be donated to the Challenge Aspen charity.

The $500 special VIP ticket includes entrance to the concert and after-show reception and a backstage pass; the $250 regular VIP ticket includes the concert and reception. Regular concert tickets are $150 and $75.

John Denver died in an airplane crash on October 12, 1997.
