Singers Grant, Gill Get Married

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Singers Amy Grant and Vince Gill were married in a ceremony complete with bagpipe players.

The couple - he one of the biggest stars in country music and she a Christian singer who found crossover pop success - were married Friday in Williamson County south of Nashville.

``They were just very relaxed and happy and pleased,'' said Erin Morris, Gill's spokeswoman.

About 100 family and close friends attended the ceremony and about 450 were at the reception at Grant's Nashville home, Morris said.

Grant, 39, was divorced from Christian singer Gary Chapman in June. Gill, 42, was divorced from singer Janis Gill in 1997.
